VERONIKA SAGEDER , SAXOPHONIST; born in Austria, Studied music at the 'Bruckner Conservatorium' Linz/Aut. than moved to London/U.K. to continue her studies in flute, saxophone and music therapy.
After finishing her studies she moved to Paris / France to play music professionally.
During her stay in Paris (four years) she mainly played african music with groups like :
Mory Kante (Guinee),
Toure Kunda (Senegal),
Bembeya Jazz (Zaire),
Djanka Djabate(Mali), ...
Parallel to this she formed her own group V.S.Q. (Veronika Sageder Quartet) to explore and go deeper into her 'real love' the saxophone. |
